This 1927 Austin 12/4 Roadster was restored to original specification around 25 years ago and now shows a wonderful patina. It was delivered new by Larke Hoskins & Co (the Sydney agent) to Parkes, NSW, and has been there all its life. This rare Dickey Seat model has all its original features including 21" Sankey wheels, Lucas "Prince of Darkness" lights, Smiths instruments and Motometer. This model was produced from 1922-1939 and was noted for its durability. The 1927 Austin 12/4 has 4 wheel brakes and a 4 speed transmission, it drives very well.The Austin 12/4 was a good model, and this rare roadster is a wonderful rally car.
