This charming 1928 Austin 7 "Chummy" has been comprehensively restored a few years ago. The paintwork, trim, hood, wheels and tyres and engine compartment are all in excellent condition, it runs and drives very well. The 1928 Austin 7 has a 4 cylinder 747cc side valve engine with 10.5bhp!!, and a 3 speed centre change transmission, 4 wheel cable operated brakes,and a suggested top speed of 47mph, 1928 was the first year with coil ignition.The Austin 7 was built from 1922-1939, exceptionally economical and reliable, the early "Chummy" models are most collectable, this is an excellent example.
