This wonderful 1932 Austin 7 Meteor "Special" has been built with motor sport in mind. The engine is the desirable early 2 main bearing model fitted with a competition Pheonix crankshaft, Renault Gordini conrods, shell bearings and forged competition high compression pistons, the camshaft and the porting has also been modified with a large SU carburettor and extractors. The gearbox is the later style 4 speed with a close ratio gear set, luckily it also has hydraulic brakes. It has an amazing performance for a 747cc vintage car and is not for the feint hearted! Although this car may not win the concours the paintwork, trim, engine compartment and hood and toneau cover are all in good condition, it has lots of 'Patina",the wheels and tyres are like new.An amazing little car with plenty of character, great fun to drive and excellent value.
