This great Austin Healey 100/4 BN1 has had a thorough restoration 35 yrs ago,and now shows a wonderful patina. The paintwork (although older) presents well, the leather trim, hood, side curtains, tonneau cover, chrome, and engine compartment are all in excellent order,it runs and drives extra well, a histoy file going back to the 70's and lots of receipts accompany the car. The Austin Healey 100/4 BN1 has a large 2.6 litre 4 cylinder engine with plenty of torque and a lovely exhaust note, this car has been tastefully modified and is fitted with a late model 5 speed gearbox (a large improvement on the original reverse patern 3 speed), the original gearbox and overdrive unit accompany the car. This car also has later model Austin Healey 3000 front disc brakes (originally 4 wheel drum brakes!),also a huge improvement. The 100/4 was the first production model "Big Healey" and my favourite. The 100/4 was the only model Austin Healey with the fold flat windscreen and in my opinion asthetically the best. The 100/4 has become most collectable, this is good "honest" example, it drives beautifully and is ready to be used and enjoyed.
