This 1951 Bentley MK6 Saloon was originally purchased by prominent Australian businessman Malcolm Reid, it was London delivered and used for Continental touring in the summer months, was shipped to Melbourne thru Kellow Faulkener (the agents) and sent to Mr Reids son in the Western districts of Victoria. In the late 60's it arrived in Adelaide. This car is in amazing condition with all its original tools , instruction manual, working HMV Radiomobile valve radio, rear picnic table and receipts for the last 35 years!. The paintwork is beautiful, the mostly original leather trim is immaculate, the timber is stunning, the chrome is excellent, under the bonnet is detailed as it should be. This model has a 4.25 litre 6 cylinder engine with the famous "trouser leg" RH manual gearchange. This car has belonged to very enthusiastic past owners who has rebuilt the cylinder head, carburettors, front suspension, brakes, exhaust etc. etc. Everything works, including the Bijur chassis lubrication system, clock and rear blind!
