This rare 1936 Chevrolet FC Standard Six “Sloper” is in excellent original condition, restored in the 80’s , has been in storage for many years, The “Sloper” coupe was a model only built for the Australian market, 2 door coupe with a fold down rear seat, the body was built by Holdens in Adelaide. The paintwork, trim, chrome, engine compartment all in good order, it runs and drives well. It has a 206 ci overhead valve 6 cylinder engine and a 3 speed centre change transmission, this model also has an “I” beam front axle. 1936 was the first year Chevrolet had the desirable 4 wheel hydraulic brakes. Not many of this model were produced, and only a few have survived, this example is in original condition, an excellent rally car, great value.
