This awesome 1938 Ford V8 Deluxe Club Coupe is great original condition, it is a genuine unmolested example, amazingly, it has escaped the hotrodders! Restored in the 1970’s to very original specification, the only modification from original is the addition of hydraulic brakes for safety ( the brakes are from a 1939 model). The paintwork is now older with “Patina”, the leather trim/hood lining/carpet all redone to a high standard in the 80’s and look great, the chrome is excellent, under the bonnet is neat and tidy as per original. This is a rare car, only 7171 of this model were built in 1938, and few original examples survive. It has a 3632cc 85hp side valve V8 and a 3 speed centre change gearbox, an amazing example still running on 6 volts and fitted with its correct working valve radio and optional driving lights and heater. This car has not been used for over 10 years, has recently been recommissioned, fully serviced and 4 new tyres have been fitted . Can be used and enjoyed as is , but would benefit from an easy repaint (i would leave it as is)
