The interior trim is excellent as are all the mechanical components, the paintwork although presentable it is now older and shows lots of patina, it runs and drives very well. The Hillman 14 has a 4 cylinder 1954cc side valve engine, 4 speed transmission and 4 wheel brakes, it is a joy to drive. Fitted with all its original equipment including Smiths instruments, Lucas "Prince of Darkness" lights, patented Pearce folding windscreen, removable period luggage box and 21 inch Sankey wheels. The past owners have used this car extensively, touring in Tasmania, New South Wales, Victoria, and several Bay to Birdwood rallies, it has been extremely reliable. This is a practical and enjoyable vintage car, it's fun to drive and has lots of character.
