This imposing 1929 Hudson Super Six Model S was restored in the early 80's, and still presents well. It has it's original factory Briggs "Coach" body, Parabeam headlights, Brown "Bilite" tail light, luggage trunk, Marvel carburettor and vacuum tank, and has been converted to 12 volts for convenience. The trim, wheels and tyres, engine compartment and dash are great,it drives very well, the paintwork is older (ok as is,may require repainting, depends on your taste!). The 1929 Hudson has a substantial 29.4 hp 6 cylinder engine with overhead inlet valves and a counterbalanced crankshaft (much less vibration than most others at this time)coupled with a 3 speed centre change gearbox and good 4 wheel brakes. The Hudson Super Six was one of the fastest cars of its era and a favourite for the American gangsters as a getaway car!1928 was one of the last years of the famous Hudson Super Six and most sought after. A quality car,this Hudson would not be out of place at any vintage car rally and definitely will not hold up the traffic.
