This excellent 1947 Jaguar 3.5 litre MK4 Saloon has had a high quality restoration a few years ago. The paintwork, leather trim. chrome, wire wheels and tyres are great, the engine compartment is beautifully presented, it runs and drives as it should. Complete with all its original tools, beautiful Lucas P100 Headlights, Smiths Instruments, sliding Sunroof, 18inch Dunlop wire wheels and instruction and workshop manuals. The MK4 Jaguar was produced in small numbers pre WW2 as the SS ( or Super Swallow) in 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 Liter versions, after the war the company was renamed Jaguar, the cars did not change much until the new MK5 in 1949, only 3860 of this model were made. The 3.5 Litre Mk4 has a 6 cylinder 125hp engine and a centre change 4 speed gearbox, it has a very sporty performance for a car of its type.The 3.5 litre Mk 4 Jaguar is rare and most sought after. This lovely example is "on the button" and ready to use and enjoy.
