This rare 1957 Jensen 541 Deluxe coupe is in very good order, only 546 Jensen 541 cars (of all models) were built. The 541 was first produced in 1954, the improved Deluxe model was introduced in 1956, it has a large 3993cc straight 6 and 4 speed manual transmission with (optional) overdrive, and chrome wire wheels (also optional), the 541 was the first production 4 seat car to have 4 wheel disc brakes. ULX 541 was originally registered in the UK to Sir Robert Mcalpine, the second owner did not use it for over 22 years, the third owner bought it to Australia around 20 years ago, it has been in storage since 1999. The chassis was restored in the UK over 20 years ago, over the years the engine, gearbox, overdrive, stainless steel exhaust and new springs and shock absorbers have all been rebuilt. The paint, leather trim, and chrome are great, it is fun to drive with 115mph performance.A rare car with an interesting history, looks great, is fun to drive, well priced and in my opinion an excellent investment.
