This lovely 1961 MGA 1600 Mk1 Roadster has had a ground up restoration in the late 1990,s (fotos of the restoration accompany the car), the engine was fully rebuilt with new pistons, reground crankshaft, timing chain and hardened valve seats (now runs on unleaded fuel), the gearbox has also been rebuilt with new syncro's and bearings, wheels replaced, suspension rebuilt etc etc, receipts for all this work and much more accompany the car, it has done less than 15,000 miles since. The paintwork, leather trim, hood, side curtains, wheels and tyres and engine compartment are all immaculate. The MGA Mk1 1600 is a large improvement over the earlier 1500cc model with a bigger 79bhp 1588cc engine and front disc brakes. This car has been fitted with a power booster, side wind deflectors and rear luggage rack for modern driving conditions.
