Nash Special Six Coach 1926

Nash Special Six Coach 1926

$0.00
This amazingly original 1926 Nash Special Six Coach is Left Hand Drive, it was last registered in Ohio, USA in 1943! and is believed that it has covered only 20,000 miles from new. I am told the first owner drove this car sparingly until 1943 when he joined the army, he did not return from the war, and his family kept the Nash until a few years ago when it was imported to Australia. This car is very much as it would have been in 1943,the paintwork is original, plenty of "patina", the trim is all original but very tatty and will require replacement, although I have not driven this car the engine runs quietly and sounds great with good oil preassure. The LH body internal wooden frame requires refurbishment, as it has some timber rot and the LH door does not shut properly without some help! The Special Six Nash for 1926 has an all new OHV 6 cylinder 23.44hp with preassure feed 7 main bearings and a 3 speed centre change gearbox and 4 wheel mechanical brakes, quite advanced for it's time.Finding a 1926 Nash Special Six Coach is rare, finding one with this history is amazing. This car can be tidied up and used as is (my preference) or could be easily restored.
