This imposing 1958 Packard 58L automatic Sedan is in excellent condition, has had only 4 owners from new, it is one of only a handful of this model delivered new in Australia, and is original Right Hand Drive. The trim, chrome, engine compartment are all in excellent original condition, it has been repainted in it's original colour to a good standard, and runs and drives well. 1958 was the last year of the Packard, only 2034 Packard Sedans were built in the final year making this a very rare car. Mechanically the 1958 Packard 58L is similar to the Studebaker but with large tail fins , fish mouth grille and 4 headlights. The Packard 58L has a 289 cubic inch V8 Studebaker engine with 210hp and 3 speed automatic transmission, electric windows and power brakes were standard. By 1958 the Packard was built only in the Studebaker plant using mainly Studebaker components.A very rare car in excellent condition, it's awesome! a great investment.
