This 1929 Plymouth Model U Tourer has been restored to a high standard a few years ago. The paintwork, leather trim, hood, side curtains and chrome are in great condition, the engine compartment is very well presented, it drives beautifully. The Plymouth was introduced in 1928 by Chrysler as a Ford and Chevrolet competitor, the improved 1929 Model U had revolutionary rubber engine mounts, 4 wheel hydraulic brakes and 60+MPH performance. It is fitted with its original Two Light Headlights, luggage rack and bumper bars. The Plymouth Model U had a good reputation, it was known as a very strong reliable car with good touring ability.
