This 1926 Rugby Tourer was produced by the Durant Motor Company. William Durant was the founder of General Motors in 1908, his involvement with GM ceased in 1920, in 1921 he formed the Durant Motor Company, it remained in business until 1935. Durant produced the Star, Locomobille, Flint and Rugby cars. This excellent restored 1926 Rugby has the improved Continental 4 cylinder "L" head engine producing 36hp with a 3 speed centre change transmission. Although this car was restored some time ago, it presents well, the paint, trim,hood, chrome etc are all in very good condition,and all 4 tyres have recently been replaced, it runs and drives extra well.A great vintage car, well priced. Now re offered for sale due to a failed contract.
