This lovely 1940 Harley Davidson Model 40-W was fully restored from an original bike around 20 years ago, and displayed at the National Motor Museum from 2000-2014. The engine was rebuilt with new pistons etc. This is a very rare model, only 439 built, it was the civilian version of the more common WLA US Army model. Has a 45ci/ 750cc twin cylinder flat head engine with alloy cylinder heads and a 3 speed LH tank gear change. A very rare and collectable bike , great value.
