This lovely 1954 MGTF 1250 Roadster is an Australian delivered car, has had a very good older restoration and the same fastidious owner for the last 18 years. The mid green paintwork (it’s original colour) is excellent, the interior has all been redone but not the leather seats, they are original and in good order, the hood and side curtains are like new, the chrome, wheels and tyres etc all great, the engine compartment is very neat and correct, the panel fit is excellent, it runs and drives beautifully. The MGTF has a 4 cylinder XPAG 1250cc OHV engine with a centre change 4 speed gearbox and independent front suspension (a huge improvement on the earlier TC model). Less than 9,700 MG TF’s were made, and in my opinion are the most collectable of the series. This great TF is well sorted and now ready for summer, difficult to find a good example like this.
