Pontiac Silver Streak Sedan 1937
Pontiac Silver Streak Sedan 1937
This 1937 Pontiac Silver Streak Sedan is Left Hand Drive, was restored a few years ago. The paintwork was redone with a mild metal flake finish, the boot lid and roof require repainting to make perfect but it is presentable as is, the trim has all been redone and is excellent as is the chrome, under the bonnet is neat and tidy, all 4 tyres are new. has been converted to 12 volts for convenience, lots of restoration and maintenance receipts accompany the car. It is believed this car was once owned by Muddy Waters ( a highly acclaimed American Blues artist), it was imported to Australia many years ago. The 1937 Pontiac Silver Streak has a substantial 222.7 Cubic Inch side valve 6 cylinder engine, a 3 speed centre change gearbox and independent front suspension, 1937 was the first year for the all steel “unibody” for General Motors. This car runs and drives very well and will not hold up the traffic! Very realistically priced.
