This 1949 Singer 9 4A Roadster 4 seater is a great little car. It is complete and very original , still fitted with its Lucas "Prince of Darkness" lights. Jaeger instruments and Solex carburettor. This model has a 1074cc overhead camshaft 4 cylinder engine and a 4 speed manual gearbox (a large improvement over the 3 speed previous model), it has a nippy performance for a car of its type. The general condition is good but it would benefit from a repaint.A realy good original example, looks great and drives well but requires repainting, only about 4000 of this model produced, excellent value. Use as it is or an easy rewarding restoration.
