This wonderful 1911 Star 15hp Tourer has had a recent ground up restoration. This 15hp Star was built by the Star Engineering Company at Wolverhampton in England, they built cars from 1898 till 1932, the Star of this time was known as a well made quality car. The paintwork, trim, hood, brass radiator and Powell & Hammer carbide headlights and side lights are excellent as is all the brass work. The 1911 Star 15hp has a 4 cylinder side valve 2.8 litre engine, 3 1/2 inch bore and 5 inch stroke with 2 blocks of 2 , it has it's original Star Zenith carburettor and Bosh ZU4 magneto, 4 speed transmission and 815x105 beaded edge tyres on original Sankey wheels,it has been discreetly fitted with a later style electric starter/generator and turning indicators/brake lights for convenience, it runs and drives as it should.A special opportunity , high quality "brass" veteran cars like this one do not come on the market often, it is now 104 yrs old!
