This awesome LHD 1961 Studebaker Hawk is in excellent original condition, it is one of the last of this style with the desirable 289 cubic inch 225hp V8 with 4 bbl carburetor and rare 4 speed manual floor shift (only available in 1961), 3,929 Studebaker Hawk's were built in 1961 and only a small number with factory 4 speed. The shown 56,000 miles we believe to be original and genuine. The engine ,brakes and suspension have all recently been rebuilt, the engine is still being run in, it runs beautifully and drives like it did when new. With the car comes the original delivery docket and instruction manual, showing that it was sold new by Husak Brothers in Detroit ,Michigan in 1961, with factory options including 4 speed man trans, 4 bbl carburetor, tachometer, twin traction, climatizer and AM radio with rear speaker, $3225.35 new! The paintwork, chrome, trim ,engine compartment are all in wonderful condition, also fitted with genuine chrome wire spoke wheels, they look fabulous.1961 was the last year of the Studebaker Hawk with fins (my favourite model), the factory 4 speed is also a rare bonus.
