This lovely 1953 Sunbeam Talbot 90 MK11A Sports Saloon has had a comprehensive restoration a few years ago. The paint, leather trim, chrome, engine compartment and wheels and tyres are immaculate, it runs and drives beautifully, it has not been driven much since restoration. Recently the brakes have been rebuilt and the tyres and battery replaced due to long storage. The Sunbeam Talbot 90 MK11A has a OHV 2267cc 4 cylinder engine developing around 80BHP, independent front suspension and a 4 speed column change gearbox. This model proved to be a successful competition car with drivers such as Stirling Moss at the wheel. The highlight of it's competition career must be winning the Monte Carlo rally outright in 1955!Only 6669 of this model were produced. This car still has it's original tools,factory sliding sun roof, and a copy of the factory shop manual.An excellent rally car with beautiful leather trim, ready to use and enjoy.
