This 1951 Sunbeam Talbot 90 Mk11 Sports Saloon is in very good condition, it was restored from a genuine low mileage (we believe an original 46,000 miles!) car. The paint, leather trim, chrome, wheels and tyred are excellent, it runs and drives beautifully. The Sunbeam Talbot 90 Mk11 has a 2.2 litre ohv 4 cylinder engine and a 4 speed column change gearbox,it has an excellent performance for a car of it's age. This lovely car still has all its original tools, working Radiomobile valve radio, factory sun roof and (according to the original sticker still on the windscreen) miracle safety wheels. The brakes,shock absorbers,starter, engine mounts, radial tyres have all been recently redone, the cylinder head has also been converted to run on unleaded fuel.This model proved to be a successful competition car with drivers such as Stirling Moss at the wheel. The highlight of it's competition career must be winning the Monte Carlo Rally outright in 1955! Only 5493 of this model were made, the Sunbeam Talbot 90 is a high quality sports sedan of its time, quite rare and most collectable.
