This charming 1912 Triumph 3.5hp 500cc motorcycle is a genuine "barn find" , it is in original condition, it runs well and can be used as is. Triumph made their first motorcycle in 1902. this 1912 3.5 hp model was a continuation off the 1910 TT class winner, it was known as one of the most durable and reliable motorcycles of the time, this example is fitted with the free engine clutch fitted in the rear wheel hub actuated with a heel/toe foot pedal, (this was a rare option),transmission is by a simple V belt, the motorcycles frame sets low and the springer front fork is Triumph's own design. The rear stand does not interfere with the removal of the wheel, for flat tyres, this was an amazing well thought out motorcycle in 1912This 1912 Triumph is in fine condition and is largely original, it was a great bike when it was new and still an absolutely enjoyable motorcycle for Veteran/Vintage motorcycle runs. Personally, I would not restore it, a very special opportunity.
