This stunning 1934 Wolseley Hornet Special has had the same owner for over 20 years and was subject to a high quality restoration a few years ago. The paint, trim, hood, chrome and engine compartment are all immaculate. The Wolseley Hornet Special has a delightful 1271cc overhead cam 6 cylinder engine with twin SU Carburettors, and a 4 speed transmission with "freewheeling hub" which enables the driver to change gears without using the clutch. The 1934 model was substantially improved with a longer and wider rear underslung chassis and a cross flow cylinder head. The Wolseley Hornet engine was known at the time to be an ideal candidate for "hotting up". This rare model was built between 1932-1935, only 2307 were produced.Only 40 Wolseley Hornet Specials were imported into Australia, this rare car is a joy to drive and has a wonderful exhaust note, a very special opportunity.
