This stunning 1974 Triumph TR6 PI has had a very comprehensive ground up restoration by it’s last retired engineer owner , Yes, it is Australian delivered, Yes, it has fuel injection and overdrive. The body off restoration included, rebuilt engine to 150hp CP model specification, with new pistons, camshaft, reground crank,,all ballanced, unleaded conversion, new timing chain, engine and gearbox mounts, new clutch, gearbox rebuilt with new syncro’s and bearings, overdrive resealed, drive shafts replaced , suspension, steering and brakes rebuilt and now running on sylicone brake fluid, new radiator with concealed electric fan, new wiring loom, alternator rebuilt, Performance alloy wheels and tyres, fuel injection rebuilt and remapped by Greg Tungstall with Bosh fuel pump etc etc! The engine and gearbox rebuild were done by Adelaide’s leading Triumph specialists. Also fitted with a lovely Moto Lita leather steering wheel and removable roll bar, the original steering wheel , rebuilt Lucas injection pump and full set of steel wheels accompany the car. A substantial receipt file and photo album showing each step of the restoration is included with a Heritage Certificate and workshop manual. The Saphire blue (original Triumph colour) paintwork is beautiful, the door fit/body gaps are excellent, the dash, trim, hood, engine compartment, chrome etc are all stunning. This car runs and drives superbly , a hoot to drive with the 150hp conversion and great exhaust note!, it is a credit to it’s last owner, any inspection is welcome.
