This excellent 1957 Ford Customline series BJ Sedan is in great original condition. I believe the 133,400 miles shown is genuine. This car has only had only 2 owners in the last 50 years, it has lived in country SA all its life and does not suffer from the rust problems associated with these cars.The paintwork is older but still quite presentable, the seats were retrimmed a few years ago in the original style and although the colour is not quite correct it is close. Mechanically this car is great, it runs quietly and smoothly with plenty of power, the 2 speed auto transmission and the power drum brakes work well as they did when new, everything works including the original radio and heater. The 1957 Ford Customline BJ sedan has a 272 ci ohv V8 engine of 164hp coupled to a 2 speed auto trans giving a smooth solid performance.A 1957 Ford Customline like this is rare, it is in very good unmolested original condition, this car can be used and enjoyed as is or easily improved. In my opinion it is an excellent investment.
