This rare 1938 Chrysler Royal C18 Sedan is in excellent condition, it is an older restoration, the paintwork and trim are in good order, redone many years ago and still present well, the chrome, wheels and tyres and engine compartment are immaculate. The Chrysler Royal was a high end model, more expensive than the Dodge, Plymouth and DeSoto, it also has independent front suspension (not available on most of the other models), a larger "Gold Seal" "L" head 3957cc 6 cylinder engine with 95hp, 3 speed centre change transmission with overdrive ( not available on other models). The Chrysler C18 was advanced for it's time having insulated engine and body mounts, hydraulic brakes, and a front stabiliser bar, it has an excellent performance with a great ride and very little vibration.
This car in my opinion is an great rally car, it will not hold up the traffic, the overdrive transmission is a treat.
