This excellent 1927 Chrysler Model 60 Tourer was delivered new by Larke, Neave & Carter, 177 William St ,Sydney (the Chrysler Distributors for NSW), it has had a ground up restoration in 2002 to original specification. The Algerian Blue paintwork (original colour), the trim, chrome, engine compartment, wheels and tyres are all great, it runs and drives beautifully. Options include, wind deflectors, running board kick plates, luggage rack with lovely whicker basket and Boyce Motometer .This car comes with most of it's original tools and a reproduction instruction manual. The Chrysler 60 has a substantial 7 main bearing side valve 6 cylinder engine and a centre change 3 speed transmission. The engine is rubber mounted (limiting vibration), this is the first model Chrysler with hydraulic 4 wheel brakes. The model 60 designates the manufacturers estimated top speed! The Chrysler 60 has a very good reputation, it was known as a fast and reliable car, this excellent example is a great rally car.
