This rare 1927 Chrysler "Finer 70" Tourer was restored years ago to original specification, it now shows a wonderful patina. Chrysler named this model the "70" as it was guaranteed to exceed 70mph (much faster than most others at the time), they also produced a 50 and a 60 model. The Chrysler"Finer 70" is the improved version with a larger 3.6 litre 6 cylinder L head engine, 7 main bearings and a harmonic ballancer (this enabled it to run very smoothly), also the "Finer 70" model Chrysler was one of the first with rubber engine mounts, hydraulic 4 wheel brakes and adjustable front seat (considered cutting edge technology in its time!) . Features include Bausch and Lamb headlights luggage rack, windscreen mounted spotlamp, bumper bar and original instruction manual. The paintwork, trim, and hood (with full wet weather equiptment) are all in good condition, it drives beautifully. Among American car collectors the Chrysler "Finer 70" is regarded as an excellent car, it runs extremely smoothly, has more than ample performance and 4 wheel hydraulic brakes. This is a wonderful rally car, it looks great and will not hold up the traffic!
