This rare 1936 Daimler E20 Sedan has covered a genuine 74,200 Miles from new, it is in beautiful original condition, it shows a wonderful patina. The paintwork is mostly original, the leather trim has been sympathetically restored (the seats are retrimmed in matching leather), the chrome is in beautiful condition, this car is immaculate. It was delivered new in Aberdeen, Scotland, was not used much until after the war. Dr Laidlaw migrated to Australia in 1966 and bought the Daimler with him (it previously belonged to his father), he returned to Scotland in 1972, the car has had 3 owners since. This car is complete with instruction manual, parts manual and service history dating back to the mid 1950's! The Daimler E20 has a 2,565cc 6 cylinder engine with pushrod operated overhead valves, a four speed pre selector gearbox with the famous Daimler fluid flywheel. it has a chassis lubrication system and built in jacking. The engine has been overhauled within the last 1,000 miles, it is whisper quiet and runs beautifully.
