This great 1927 Dodge "Fast Four" Tourer was found on a farm at Wongan Hills in Western Australia in the 1970's, it was fully restored many years ago, the paint, trim, chrome and engine compartment are all well presented, it runs and drives as it should. Features include, the original bumper bars, side wind deflectors, Stewart Vaccum tank and 21" detatchable wooden spoke wheels. The "Fast Four" was among the last of the famous side valve four cylinder Dodge models, it has the improved engine with 5 main bearings with 40hp and a top speed over 60mph, this was the first model Dodge with a conventional pattern 3 speed centre change gearbox and a single plate clutch.The Dodge 4 was known as a robust reliable car, this excellent example is one of the last and best of a famous model, a realy good rally car!
