The 1977 Lotus Elite Type 75 502 series 4 seat Coupe is a rare car, this model was produced in limited numbers between 1974-1980 (only 2398 built) . It has an all fibreglass (typical Lotus) body and is fitted with the Lotus built twin overhead cam all aluminium 1973cc 4 cylinder 160bhp engine (Lotus also built this engine for the Jensen Healey) with a 5 speed manual transmission. This excellent example was delivered new in Australia and has covered only 74,000 km from new, the paintwork, leather trim, engine compartment and chrome are great, it drives as it should. A complete set of workshop books, original instruction manual and comprehensive receipt file accompany the car. This was the last production model designed by Colin Chapman before he died. A great 4 seat classic car with excellent future investment potential.
