This lovely original 1950 MG YA Sedan we believe has had only 3 local family owners from new, all well known MG enthusiasts. The paintwork is older (still neat and tidy),the trim, and the hood lining have recently been replaced all done to a high standard,the brakes have also been rebuilt and all tyres replaced. The engine compartment is not highly detailed but neat and tidy and very original. This car runs and drives extra well. The MG Y Type was produced between 1947-53, around 8,500 cars in total. The engine is a 1250ccOHV 4 Cylinder with a delightful 4 speed centre change gearbox and independent front suspension. This lovely example has its original factory sun roof, Lucas "Prince of Darkness" headlights and spot lamp, Jaeger instruments, rear blind and SU Carburetor.This MG Y Type is in lovely original condition, it runs and drives superbly, a great rally car.
