Maxwell Tourer 1925

$0.00
This excellent 1925 Maxwell "Good Maxwell" Tourer has had a ground up restoration, it was completed around 10 years ago and has covered less than 2000 miles since, a photographic record of the restoration is included, the history of this car is known from new. The paint. trim, hood and side curtains, and engine compartment are very well presented, it drives beautifully. Maxwell cars were produced from 1904, this example was built in Detroit, Michigan, Maxwell was bought out by Chrysler in 1923, production ceased in 1925 (this model is very similar to the Chrysler 50 that was introduced in 1925). The "Good Maxwell"has a side valve 4 cylinder 21.3 hp engine and a 3 speed centre change transmission, a single plate clutch and sprung engine mounts. Original advertisments claim 28mpg and a staggering 58mph top speed. This rare 1925 Maxwell is a well restored vintage car, in my opinion excellent value.
