This beautiful 1937 Triumph 14/60 Special was lovingly rebuilt by its past owner over a several year period and finished in 2004, has covered only 2,000 miles since. It has been rebuilt using a shortened 1937 Triumph Gloria saloon chassis and the larger 1760cc OHV 14/60 engine and gearbox. The car has a similar mechanical specification to the rare Vitesse model, being quite light and having the larger twin carburettor engine it has a very sporty performance and is great fun to drive. Everything was rebuilt during the restoration, engine, gearbox, differential, springs, shackles, king pins, stainless steel lined brake cylinders, the list goes on! A photographic file of the restoration accompanies the car.The high quality of this restoration is a great credit to its past owner, it would be impossible to restore this exceptional car for anything like the asking price.
