This rare 1921 Hupmobile Model R Tourer is in excellent condition, it was fully restored many years ago to original specification. We have recently recomissioned this car after a long time in storage. We believe this amazingly original car has had only 2 family owners from new, the first being Monte Brothers who were Carpenters and Joiners from Ethelton in South Australia, and the current owners since the 1960's. The paintwork, trim, hood and side curtains etc are all in good order, it runs and drives very well. This example is fitted with its original 24" detatchable wooden wheels, Simms magneto, Liberty headlights and Stewart vaccum tank. The Hupmobile Model R has a large 3 litre side valve 4 cylinder engine giving an excellent performance and a centre change 3 speed transmission.A rare car, well restored, very original and with plenty of character, this Hupmobile is great value and ready to enjoy.
