This excellent 1926 Whippet Model 96 Tourer was restored many years ago and still presents well. The paint, trim ,chrome, wheels and tyres and engine compartment all great, the engine has had a recent rebuild, it runs and drives very well. The Whippet was produced by the Willys Overland Company from 1926-1931.The Model 96 was advertised as a sporty, young persons car! It has a reliable 4 cylinder 40hp side valve engine (strongly resembles a WW2 Willys Jeep engine), a 3 speed centre change gearbox and 4 wheel brakes. An excellent drive anywhere vintage car, very realistically priced.
